Five course Chef’s Table Seafood Lunch with wine pairings – a piece of culinary theatre!  Your experience starts with a glass of bubbles to accompany the first of your 5 courses with wine tasters, finishing some 3 hours later with a sublime dessert. This is a ‘Bucket list’ occasion for people who love seafood, wine and engaging with others. From the moment you arrive there is an air of excitement and experimentation and the feeling that you’ve landed somewhere special!

All the ingredients are local and sourced within a 20km radius; fish from Kalk Bay, veggies and cheese from locals, herbs homegrown.  We’re located just 30 minutes from the gates of the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, making this a perfect Cape Point day lunch stop.

Please arrive at 13h00. The lunch is very interactive where you’re invited and indeed encouraged, to chat and watch Duncan prepare your meal in his open plan kitchen/dining room.

Please note:

The menu is set and seafood in nature.  We can accommodate vegetarians and certain allergies however these must be notified in advance.  Due to the nature of the menu, certain complex dietaries may mean you miss a course as there is no substitute.

Lunch at the Flagship is a sophisticated experience with wine and regrettably we cannot accommodate children under 12 years of age.

Arriving on time (13h00) is essential – it is a hosted lunch and we wait for everyone to arrive before starting – late arrivals really impact on everyone’s experience.

The lunch truly is a Chef’s Table and you may be sharing a table with other guests – meeting others from all corners of the globe enhances the whole experience and is often one of the highlights of the day.
