CHEF BRUCE ROBERTSON IS MOVING TO SIMON'S TOWN
Chef Bruce Robertson is launching The Flagship on 07 April. Bruce has taken over the Winston and will be turning it into his 'gourmet home', where he will delight and entertain foodies from all corners of the globe with his unique Chef’s Table.
Chef Bruce will continue to offer the 5 course Seafood Table d’Hote lunch with award winning wines at the new Flagship. With just 16 seats for lunch, the same relaxed, intimate gourmet ‘vibe’ that Bruce created in Scarborough will be recreated throughout his new home.
Industry insiders are truly delighted with the new location. It is the perfect lunch locale on the Cape Peninsula, situated 3.5 km south of Jubilee Square (the heart of Simon’s Town) on the main road and only 7.5 km from the Cape Point Nature Reserve gate.
An exciting addition to The Flagship is the four new ensuite guest rooms which can be booked on a bed and breakfast basis. Each room leads out onto the ocean view pool deck overlooking False Bay. With Cape Town being voted the World Design Capital of 2014, there is no better time for Bruce to show off his design talents and use his inimitable touch to restyle his new home.
Chef Bruce Robertson said, ‘I put my heart and soul into seafood cooking and if home is where the heart is, my Flagship is truly a home away from home! ’
